27th June 2020

Day 95 of lock down.

Unfortunately today started grey and cloudy culminating in heavy rain at lunchtime. This was bad news as we have been invited over to Karen and Ian to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary.

My 25 mounts arrived first thing which was a surprise as I was expecting them on Monday I am really pleased with the finish - they make the print look excellent and I have my fingers crossed for selling a number to raise funds for the local Landmark Centre.

I finished off making the lemon meringue pie and am pleased with the result. We packed some umbrellas in the car and headed off to Warlingham.

Unfortunately the weather did not improve and got very windy so we were unable to sit outside as planned. Let's just say it was a challenge sticking to social distancing with 10 people inside house however it was a nice afternoon. This will be ‘legal’ from next Saturday so I don't think this will make much of a difference!
