25th July 2020

Day 123 of semi lock down.

Today I delivered the last of the three prints that people have ordered. I have now sold 20 out of 25 and hope to be able to sell the remaining five over the next few weeks as people will be able to see it framed at the Landmark Centre. My deliveries were across Teddington including Harrowdene Gardens which I've never visited before.

Our main event of the day was in the evening - we headed off to catch the 481 bus from outside of the police station to Whitton to see our friends Robert and Sue who had invited us over for a barbecue. Needless to say, despite it being sunny all week and forecast sun for tomorrow, it rained most of the day. We wore our masks on the bus and it was a quick journey. It was great to see Robert and Sue after all this time.

A quick change of plan as the rain became torrential so we ate in the kitchen and Sue had decorated it with bunting and little lights. The food was excellent - Spanish style with barbecued chicken kebabs and we finished up with a home-made cheesecake. We eventually left at about 12:30 AM and decided not to risk a taxi but to take a different bus home. We caught the 281 very quickly and our journey was going well until a large group of very rowdy people got on at Twickenham. We decided to get off by Twickenham Green but the had quite a long walk towards St Mary's College where luckily we were able to catch the 33 into Teddington. We finally got to bed at about 1:30 AM but it was a great evening.
