23rd September 2020

Day 182 of semi lock down.

Colin was at golf this morning so I took the opportunity to try the first draft print of my ‘project’. I’m really pleased with how it is looking and with all the auxiliary information that I had sent to me ‘from overseas’. I’m pretty sure Colin will not be reading this but just in case…

Karen’s book finally arrived all the way from the Czech republic - I am really pleased that despite all the issues in getting it to print the reproduction of very old scanned photos is excellent. I will take it to Karen’s next week.

The temperature has dropped a lot and it is intermittent heavy rain. Apparently today is exactly 6 months since we first went into lock down and indeed 182 days divided by 7 gives 52 weeks. Although we are no longer in a strict lock down, we have many restrictions and there is a possibility of more on the way as the R rate continues to climb past the safety of 1.

I forgot to take a photo today - whoops!
