Day 13 of lock down 2 (day 235 since the start of the 1st lock down)
After the excitement of yesterday we had a leisurely walk to Bushy Park to enable me to deliver another card order received via my Etsy shop. The weather was very mild and we heard an owl in the park but as the light was slow I could not find it in he tree although it could obviously see me as it stopped making a noise every time I got close to the tree.
Surprisingly there were a number of large bats flying very low to the ground as the light dropped. I would have thought it quite late in the year to see bats but I suppose it is so mild that the gnats are still out for food. I even managed to take some videos of them so that Mum can identify them. I think they are Noctule bats as they are quite big. The Fallow deer were also very loud in he background. It was almost as busy as a Disney film with all the birds and animals scampering around!
