Day 20 of lock down 2 (day 251 since the start of the 1st lock down)

A slightly better day today as we walked into Kingston along the river and popped into Waitrose to stock up on coffee and also to get a sandwich. The weather was quite mild and sunny although a weak wintery sun. We took our lunch and found a bench just inside Home Park to sit and eat it and then we continued our walk back home through Bushy Park. I had to get back by 3.30pm as I had to deliver the last three prints of the current orders.

Two prints going to one client who lives near near Marble Hill and the third to an old acquaintance who is also the mum of a friend of mine. I felt rather awkward as her husband (my friends Dad) only passed away a few weeks ago, however she is coping very well. It turns out that her husband had been suffering from dementia for well over a year and so although very sad, was not as traumatic as it could have been as she explained that it almost felt that he had left her a long time ago. He died from Covid 19 so perhaps everyone could take the current lock down a little more seriously.
