11th February 2021

Day 330 since the start of the 1st lock down.

Colin braved the train and travelled into Kingston to buy a duck for our Valentines meal using his vouchers. He also stocked up with fat balls from Wilcos so I met him on his return to help carry everything.

In the afternoon I mounted two Twickenham montages. I had received an order via my website and as it takes so long to mount and frame I decided to do two in case I get another order. I hate putting the mounted print in a frame as despite cleaning and my best efforts, the moment I put the frame together bits appear on the mount and in total I had to open the entire frame up nine times and I was getting so frustrated.

After the joy of mounting I finished the afternoon by painting the window sill and giving the door a first roll of paint - it is covering well. It is Thursday so must be photo club zoom night - it was Presidents evening so I thought i should attend - it was interesting although not a style I would want to try myself - good to see different types of work though.

This is the bouquet of flowers that Mum sent me on Saturday - they have come out beautifully.
