St George’s Day today and the flags are flying in the High Street.
Colin was at golf this morning so I spent some time catching up with the Teddington Society Instagram account. In the afternoon we headed to the jewellers at long last and I was able to collect my wedding ring which has been enlarged (arthritic knuckles), rhodium treated and polished. My rings look like new now and with all seven on my silver bracelets repaired and back on, I feel normal again!
In other news, I have ordered 6 freshly backed cinnamon rolls to be delivered by a local woman who bakes amazing cakes… or so it says. At only £6 that’s great value! Here’s a healthy dessert before the rolls arrive tomorrow.
