28th April 2021

1 year, 34 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020.

Whilst Colin was at golf this morning I cracked on and made up the framed images for the Teddington Society display to go in the window of Sims opticians. The frame looked OK as it was a Tescos one from Jenny but when I came to putting it back together again, it was virtually impossible to refit the hardboard back. I was slightly panicking until I managed to use brute force and it went in. Afterwards I put together the Twickenham montage into the frame which luckily had arrived that morning.

I walked down in Broad Street and delivered the Teddington Society frame to Melissa in Sims and then popped into Tesco’s to stock up. Most shops are open now so although mask are still compulsory, things are feeling like they are starting to get back so some sort of normality.

In the afternoon we drove into East Twickenham so I could drop off the montage print which is destined to be a leaving gift for someone who works at the Richmond and Wandsworth borough council. Apparently they had asked for it so that was quite a compliment and as the free I had ordered arrived yesterday, it did not have to sit around for too long! We drove back via Squires and I checked up on my greeting cards - all are out and I’ve sold nearly 40 in just a week or so. I spotted this chicken wire figure outside at Squires - great work.
