This morning we sorted out our bags, put things away and complexity filled the laundry basket!
The news of the moment is that Dominic Cummings - Boris Johnson’s previous political advisor and right hand man - has been giving evidence over 7 hours at a Select Committee. He is coming out with some real revelations about how the Pandemic was handled by the Government and who is responsible for the lies and ineptitudes including himself. I wonder if this will have any effect at all on the Prime Minister who is also known as Teflon Man as nothing sticks!
In the afternoon we expertly timed a visit to Lidl to stock up on food and avoid crowds. We seemed to time it just right as parents left early to pick children up from school. We got a lot of bargains!
