27th July 2022

2 years and 121 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020.

Busy, busy, busy.

I was up early to drop Colin off at Fulwell first thin gin the morning. Then I had a tightly timed list of places to visit to potentially take Christmas card orders and collect cups for presentation at my photo club dinner tomorrow evening.

First meeting at Twickenham went well with them taking on twelve card designs for my facia on their spinner. We also discussed pricing as they wish to increase the cost of my cards. This will generate a lot of work for me to re-code all the cards but will bring them into line with other outlets. If the price rises to £2.50 my costs will not go up but if they rise to £2.99 I’ll charge an additional 10p per card!

Then onto Orleans House where the parking was a bit of a nightmare so I had to drive out again and park on the road. Sheila also selected a number of designs including my two new montage designs - fingers crossed they do well this year.

Next stop of the day in the car was over to my friend Ann’s house in Whitton to collect two cups and have a quick chat before heading back to Fulwell to collect Colin. No stopping now, onto Molesey to collect the decorative buckets for my table layouts tomorrow. We finally headed back for lunch.

However, it was off to Kingston in the afternoon to take a card order in Kingston - another 12 designs accepted and then a speedy shopping session to try and find a belt to go with my dress. In the end I bought two and will decide when I get home.

Very last task of the day (and I was flagging a little) was to place a rather complex order for 1,500 Christmas cards for delivery next week when Colin is in Spain. A successful but very busy day.
Nice architecture.
