We set off to Kingston this morning - a bit of displacement therapy for me before the big set up tomorrow. Taking the bus this time rather than walking but I was determined not to miss out on my free cake voucher! I bought the lattés and we shares a scone with jam and clotted cream.
Afterwards Colin got some euros for our trip but I am ordering online next week to take advantage of the higher rates. I also bought a lovely bunch for presentation to the Deputy Mayor tomorrow. They are lovely flowers and a lot cheaper than the bouquet I bought from the florist last year!
Back home again to finish the last of the paperwork for the show tomorrow and get everything ready for the morning. It was my last Club meeting and I had promised my friend Sally I would make notes on the comments from the judge. I just stayed for the first half and luckily remembered to pick up the SumUp gadget for our exhibition before heading off with a biscuit.
