Over 8-hours travelling across the country (Malaysia) by car on some roads with the biggest pot holes I have ever seen today!
We were up against the clock to drop off the car on time and so I only had about half an hour of daylight left when we finally arrived in a little place called Kuala Besut. This is a 'one-stop' town, primarily a staging post for trips to the nearby Perhentian Islands. However, there are some lovely places in between the shops and water taxi offices, including this dockside house with an ornate wood trim.
