30th March 2013

‘I’m a fire starter, terrific fire starter’... apologies to the Prodigy.

Piles of paper, only one shredder, answer? Husband created a bonfire, any excuse! I always find fire fascinating but it is difficult to capture the sense of heat and randomness of the flames. With a controlled fire in an incinerator bin though, it is easier although my lens hood did get very hot!

So, todays photograph is fire symbolising a spring-clean ready for summer which in theory starts tomorrow as our clocks move an hour forward into British Summer Time (it’s snowing at the moment outside).
perfect fire shot ! I love that I can see the newspapers (?) and the fire

The swirls of the flames are neat - soft curls of colour! It will warm up, you will see!

You did a great job! Fire is just one of those things, so fascinating.

What an amazing photo of colors, textures and lines. The filminess of the flames over the paper. LOve how the paper is scattered in different shapes as the fire is swirling around it.
