Having just watched the programme on Heathrow airport I noticed the planes seem noisier than usual tonight - must be the wind direction.
A quick balance on a chair upstairs and I took a series of pics out of our velux window. If you view this large you can see a massive jet near the centre with its lights on. No filters used, just a tweak to the contrast and saturation. A lovely sunset and I cannot believe we are nearly at the longest day of the year.
As a matter of interest to anyone who may be interested... this Saturday there will be a 'Super-moon' - a full moon that is much closer to earth than other full moons this year. Chance of a decent moon photograph perhaps - clouds willing?
Saw the plane right away. Like how the beams of light are radiating just ahead of the plane. Fabulous gradation of color. The orange really sets the building silhouettes off beautifully. Thanks for the tip on the moon. Hopefully it will happen the same here. But we have a great splat of rain forcast for the whole week ahead.
