Todays word is poppy but as my paper poppy is quite scrumpled now, here is my new brooch from the National Arboretum in Staffordshire. I'm hoping this one won't get lost as it has a secure pin.
I always buy one or more poppies and I practically always lose them. Next year I'm going to attach a proper pin back to my poppy to avoid that happening again. The brooch is lovely. Your poppies over there are a different shape from ours.
