The Red Deer stags in Bushy Park are always photographed but often the hinds get overlooked.
Here is a mother (lying) and her year old fawn standing. I think the mother has a problem with her lower jaw as her teeth are sticking out but she looks quite healthy otherwise.
@pamknowler@simster@tristansmum Thank you, the Hinds are recovering from all the attention from the stags in recent weeks! @steampowered actually I was using the 24-70mm (slightly cropped). If the stags are not around and I take my time I can usually get to within 20 feet or so before they start to move away. It was so grey I didn't bother taking the 70-200mm as I didn't think I could get a fast enough shutter speed.
