So today I was trying to get control of my photo files and also make a video (maybe two) to post on my last day and boy! does that take a long time. And then youtube won't let me play it with my music, which I had spent hours matching photos to. Darn. I did not think about that even if I owned the CD, that that can happen.
Then we took off for a lake weekend. I saw this on the way. And it is a new one!
I had seen Alpharetta 1 on the overpass very near here back in the fall, so thought it might be that one, but this is #2.
So I am still getting new fire trucks all the way up to my "finish line" date.
I took pics of a gorgeous garden "writing" spider but to make sure I don't spend all day on the computer like yesterday, I am going to post this and get off of here and enjoy some lake/hubby time.
Just keeping a photo journal (Jan. 1, 2015)

I did my Everything Old Is New Again (EOINA)...
I decided to do a video on my last day of my 365 project last year. It was crazy doing it last minute and trying to fit in so many pics. Not sure why YouTube didn't play your music though? What did you use to create the video?
@russianblue Kass, I used the song Feeling Good, by Michael Buble and Warner Music Group (WMG) and other major labels have this thing with Youtube that they search your post and if you have copyright protected music, then they block that. They let you go to an "approved" list of music on Youtube to replace it with. I think most songs/labels don't get caught like that...my brother has placed several slide shows (we use Photodex Proshow Gold which will output straight to Youtube from the program...that is not the issue) on youtube with songs he ripped off Cds or bought the mp3 on amazon.com and they were not blocked. Just depends on what song you choose. Sometimes, it doesn't get blocked, but then later the music owner can report the video and they then block it at that time. Some people, I am now reading, have this happen so much, their account goes into bad status and they can even lose their account.
@russianblue When I started this, I would not think I'd have to be so frustrated which pics I want to use, but yes, I have run three albums too,and not many pics can go in a video....tough to choose at times!
@russianblue Hey Kass...I was thinking...I have the CD of the music in my basement...if I played it into a recording software on my lap top and then put it on my slide show and then on youtube, I think it would go through. I am going to try it.
Have a fun weekend. I always feel sorry for the poor people involved as their weekend is spoiled. But hey I can't believe you are almost finished with this project. Wow.
I almost pulled off a shot of a fire truck for you in Vermont- but I couldn't get my camera out of my purse fast enough! I was so upset! But you didn't need it after all!
Every time I see a fire engine I think of you now! We had two fire alarms when I was in Sydney last month and both times I took photos with you in mind!
@izzymathie LOL> Not really. I just started this "take a pic of different fire trucks" thing in August and when I see one (I have a long commute through several counties/towns) I snap a pic. It is a running gag on here with me. But thanks!
@izzymathie Haha..good point. Normally, a wreck getting pulled up on a tow truck and a fire engine are not soothing, but the processing I did I guess added that. :))
