I just loved Carolyn White's bird version of lovers at Valentine's...so I was hoping that I, too, would be lucky enough to stumble upon some love birds of my own.
I did. Here they are. :0) :0) LOL Do you think my lovebirds will make the pop page? I think not.
If you look magnify this, you will discover that is not just LOVE that is in the air. Hee hee (check out the rear portion of the bird on the left...ugh)
Also, you may see the white spots on these Turkey Buzzards' backs....they just hang out in trees in groups and experience "fall out" from other birds above. Could these poor birds be any more vile or disgusting?
I got this shot because there were about 10 or 12 buzzards in the air when we got home from my friend's mom's funeral. I grabbed my camera and went out in the COLD blustery wind. I saw they had all settled in to rest in this tree. I am glad I did not stand directly under it.
