Bonaventure Black and White

photo 318
I took this on my Savannah/Tybee Island trip last days of June. Where has the summer gone? It seems like yesterday I was planning that trip.

I rarely think of using black and white, but when I saw the contrast of the light shining just on the tombstone, it made me think that this one would do pretty well in B and W. I liked it in color too though.

It was one of the first photos of hundreds I shot that morning in this historic Savannah cemetery. I want to go back!

I should have grunged, sepia-ed, and stuff like this on this one. I will retry it. but it looks too "pretty" or flat or something when I want it to look antique.
