@onewing @julzmaioro @dide @golftragic @kali66 Thank you for your lovely response. I'm glad you like it. I have a secret yen to do portrait photography and had a great time creating this. My granddaughter, Laura is a willing model, but she is also a practicing artist. She set up a studio in our dining room, and we did "takes", to get the lighting just so etc etc.

@onewing You are the one who suggested photography could be therapeutic. You inspired me to have a go at the Feb flashofred2019 project. Yes, it has been therapeutic, so Thank you, Babs.

@gmonty I found you had slipped off my friends list. Total mystery. It has happened before.

@ethelperry I am so pleased you have picked up your camera again.
When my daughter passed away 6 years ago I had just started 365 and thought I wouldn't be able to carry on. On our long drive back to New South Wales from Victoria after her funeral, we stopped at a café for a much needed cuppa and a rest. On the wall in the café the following words were written in bold letters. Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass it's about learning to dance in the rain. It was at that point that I decided to carry on with 365 and so glad I did. It was a struggle at first, but so therapeutic to be able to see good things even when your world has been turned upside down.
Long may you continue to find photography therapeutic with your unique style. You are an inspiration Ethel. xx

this is just wonderful Ethel. You should definitely do more portraiture. Well executed project by you and your grand daughter. I'm hoping you will, in time, be able to get lost in your photography but learning to dance in the rain as Babs has done seems like an excellent idea - when you are ready.
