Everyone had already gone to their cabin, as severe waves and winds were coming in. I was just by myself in the common room of the ferryboat, hastily finishing my crossword before leaving, when suddenly, out of nowhere, a group of musicians gathered. They were travelling to Ireland to deliver a performance on an Irish Traditional Music Festval in Ennis the following day.
They started a music session in the rocking ferry, and it was so well executed and so enthusiastic that I could not leave. We were all inside the music and not paying attention to the agitation of the swinging boat. I must admit that, at some point in time, it made me think about the Titanic, where the orchestra was playing while the ship was sinking. A memorable experience, with not many usable pictures, since most of them were blurred by Unintentional Camera Movement :-)
