This is a flower you have probably never seen if you do not grow your own vegetables. It is the delicate flower of a curly endive. When harvesting my vegetables, I usually leave in place at least one vegetable plant of each kind in order to let the pollinating insects enjoy the flowering. This also provides me with some new seeds for the following year.
