It is tempting to walk on this rocky promontory that extends further to the left into the sea. However, the only access to it is the narrow boulder path on the right. When the tide raises, it gets covered within a few minutes, so the whole rocky area becomes an island, that gets smaller and smaller until it disappears under water. There are many places like this along our coast, and there are regularly people who get stranded and need to get rescued in spite of being warned.
Spectacular layers in sky, sea, and land. I can see how that could happen. Is there a sudden drop in the depth of the water or a serious undertow? In this beautiful, peaceful shot it doesn’t look like a difficult swim.
