My involvement behind the camera really came as a fluke. I took a few pictures and when I showed them to that person, the smiles and the emotions that were received were so unexpected! Also, being an overweight girl my entire life, always feeling unwanted and unaccepted because of all the "mediafied perfection portrayed", made me see that photography really isn't just a pretty picture. It is so much more.

Beauty is not only something visual, but it's entire package, built from the inside out.
