Autumn Hydrangea

The weather forecast was for possible heavy rain and wind from Hurricane Nate. That did not scare Baton Rougeans away from the Hilltop Arboretum fall plant sale. We are finally putting in flower beds around our new house, so I went to the plant sale and came home with. . . two herbs and a small book on native trees. We need a plan before we start buying plants, so I was looking for ideas.
Love the color and texture. Good luck surviving the latest in hurricane drama.

LOL! Shopping for ideas is always just as fulfilling as purchasing the plants themselves. so glad to hear hurricane Nate didn't bother you

@grammyn You are right! Too many times I bought more plants than I had time to plant as quickly as they needed. Did you have any storm effects from Hurricane Nate?

@allie912 Thanks, Allison. Hurricane Nate was a non-event here, but we still had to prepare for it because you never know.

@grammyn Glad it wasn't bad. We need rain and got very little. I was worried about New Orleans, but it didn't flood.

I like the square format, the soft edges and coloring of this shot. Very nice! I'm glad to hear that Nate was more like a huff and puff but no blowing down. I was thinking of you when I heard it was going to hit in your neck of the woods.
