She used to say, "The weather is just crazy. All over the country." Atmospheric rivers, bomb cyclones, thunder snow. All we had were torrential rains. The rivers were already high and the water had nowhere to go.
Shot taken from our front porch. The LSU students who live in the little blue house were rescued by their boyfriends in pickup trucks. The outdoor cats (who decline to come inside before storms) came looking for food as soon as the water receded. The water did not get into our house and we don't seem to have any damage.
I am so glad to hear you are safe and sound and that the water did not reach your home. At first I thought the water was much higher, but then I noticed the tires on the vehicles- but it still looks threatening!
