I took a drive to Kathikas today. Not very far, but it is up in the mountains. The views are spectacular. When I look out at this view it isn't just the gorse and wild mustard in bloom or the ancient terraces that are so captivating. It's the vast recorded history that has taken place on those hills and mountains. Everywhere one looks, there have been people living life. It's humbling.
