I am always saving ladybugs too...but not from the pool. We moved in our home 20 years ago and at certain times of the year, I will find ladybugs on the inside of our double pane windows and French Door! I rescued 8 one day, then 5 on another! I don't understand where they come from but that is one bug I don't mind and we must have a lucky home!
@gardenfolk Thank you! In our home in the US, they are considered a pest. They come into the house in droves to nest in the walls. Apparently, they have been doing so for the entire 200 years it has been in existence, so it is unlikely we will ever be rid of them, but I certainly would LIKE to not have to vacuum up thousands of them every time I go home. I still like them OUTSIDE though! :)
