As I was washing bird bowls I also noticed the raindrops on the mespila, so decided to take a photo. The tree is in the middle of the mint patch, so I had to stomp on the mint to take it. It created such a lovely odor...even on my tennis shoes when I went inside! I highly recommend stomping in mint to brighten one's day. And it won't hurt the mint...NOTHING kills mint!
With a perfectly beautiful capture...just gorgeous!!! I laughed about the mint as I was only just talking about ours this morning! You're correct...NOTHING will kill it, but maybe it's not to early to look for a recipe for making Mojitos!
@skstein Thank you very much! My Grandma planted mint in a small bed in her front yard. In a few years, it had overtaken over half of her lawn, so she just mowed it along with the grass. It gave a wonderful aroma!
@Weezilou Thank you so much! Lol! We also have mint on the banks of the creek at our house in the US and use weedeaters to mow it down several times a summer. You wouldn't know it had ever been done!
@milaniet Thank you so much! I appreciate your comment very much!
@365karly1 Thank you! I was surprised that they were so small since the rain shower was such a hard one. I surmised that they were splintered drops from the branches above.
@mlwerkheiser Thank you very much!
