Martios is a lunatic. We are working very diligently to help him learn some boundaries, but in the interim, he still has moments when his internal lunatic spills over and impacts the rest of us. Case in point: Nick, the pool cleaner arrived this morning, just as he does every Monday morning. Martios, ran into the full-length mirror standing in the hall outside our bedroom, in his frenzy to see him. This mirror is...was...taller than I am. It was HEAVY! It isn't anymore. The good thing is that no one was injured. Our housekeeper and I got all the pups taken to my workshop and got all of the glass cleaned up. I had to take a hammer to one large piece that wouldn't fit in the bin. It made a lovely crash as we dumped it in the dumpster!
Sonja was so patient as she waited while I took a photo. I love the lines and colors. Martios never got to see Nick. I was busy cleaning up his mess, so he had to chill in my workshop the whole time...DARN!
I really like this picture, and how you composed it. Glad nowbody was injured, but sorry for the nice mirror. You are an artist and so creative. Why don't you make a great mosaic. Maybe you even have a glass pincher to safely produce nice squares. Would make a nice memorabilia of this day. ;-)
@sarasotab Thank you! This one especially! I have never trained a dog more difficult. However, given that he was removed from mom at LATEST when he was 3 weeks old, it is no wonder he has no self-control or manners.
@ribbet9 Thank you! We've been training for 2 years, and will continue! At the rate he's going, it may take 7!
@helenhall As I used to tell the boys, things are things. People are important. I guess in this case it would be dogs. Thank you!
@mona65 Thank you very much! I actually thought about saving the remnants for a brief moment as I started to dump them in the dumpster, then I thought of all of the half-finished projects I already have and tumped them all the way in! :)
