I rescued this bee from the pool and put her on the geranium so I could take a photo. She promptly decided to hang from this petal by her two little hanger on bits. I put her back on the petal proper, so she wasn't so precarious, but she once again did the same thing. Perhaps she likes to live dangerously. Perhaps I interrupted her training for a bee X-game. I don't know; I am not much in the know about that sort of thing. I do like the color and softness of the background
Perhaps she is cleverly maximising the opportunity to dry out. I think she did you a favour too, as this is a lovely composition and she looks so good against the distant greens and we still get to see the bright pink of the flower. Lovely to see you back Evalie, I hope you are recovering well.
@helenhall I wondered about that also, but she seemed so wobbly on her feet I thought it seemed a risky move, but she didn't seem to think so. Like you, I was very glad to take advantage of her derring-do. Thank you so much for your lovely words of welcome and critique.
love your narrative
maybe she can dry out better at that angle lol
@joysabin Thank you so much for your kind words. She was indeed tenacious. And thank you for the welcome back!
@ribbet9 Thank you so much!
