While I was getting everything ready for the family photo, rather than have everyone sit on the wet ground while I fiddled with the focus, I asked our youngest son, Evan, to be a placeholder. We were just piddling, so didn't try to get all fancy with smiles or poses, but I still love this photo. Now I wish I had just gotten one of each of them. Why do I always have these great ideas after the fact?
