After messing up yesterday's bangle first thing in the morning, I decided to start another one, hoping I could remember what I had done by mistake the day before. I made a new bangle, forging it nice and parallel this time, which was a bit more challenging than messing it up. Then I started layering on the color and firing it in the kiln. Watching it carefully and adding the next was hot work but I am so glad I persevered! I very much like this bangle. The little pops of blue came through just as I planned which is always nice.
I probably won't be doing more of these until winter. Having the kiln on during the hottest part of the year, without A/C, turned my workshop, which is already hottest room in the house, into an unbearable nightmare. The good thing then, is that in the winter, it is the coldest room in the house!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond I have never done an online shop because shipping from where I am has always been iffy. But... I just found out that my boys are coming here for Christmas and could take one back to the US and ship it from there...I think that is where you are, right? Mostly I make for people who know what I do and want a gift for someone.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thank you for your lovely comment!
