When I woke up this morning, there was a layer of snow on the grass and the fog was just lifting, so I grabbed my camera (yeah, no makeup and all!) and headed out the door to find a dramatic fog shot! Well I wasn't real happy with my first few shots and then on my way home, spotted a herd of deer! I caught this one looking at me and liked it that she was coming down the hill.

I really appreciate your comment, because I can't tell you all the split second thoughts that ran through my head before snapping and hoping she didn't move!! Like, no power lines, no houses, no street signs, and she happened to look my way!!
So thank you! @rogerprice@spthorne@digitalrn@forgetmenot@kaustin@tralo29@jodimuli@sparkle Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments! @ellida LOL Graham!! It's true! It's amazing how fixated I have become on getting my shot for the day, before I realize I better get some other things done on my to do list, like put my make-up on!! :) Thank you for your comments! @dvarey Thank you Diana! They are skiddish for sure! I was only able to get in a couple of shots before they all took off down the street! So thank you for knowing how difficult this can be!! @bobfoto@atomic@vernabeth Thank you all for your comments!
Excellent, Wendy! I can't wait until we build our cottage so I can get some wildlife shots. My problem is I can't get my butt out of bed early enough to get these type of shots. :)
What a magical image....talk about being in the right place at just the right time!! Such a wonderful composition and your processing is really perfect!
Lovely shot, she's definitely keeping an eye on you and a coule of ears just for good measure.
