This is part of the luxurious 5-star mountain resort... The Broadmoor Hotel. It was opened in 1918 by Spencer Penrose. It's a beautiful place to visit and the lake is beautiful! I love the mountain setting here and would love to stay overnight, but it is a pretty penny for a room!
Quite lovely, great capture. How does the Broadmoor compare to the Cliffhouse in Manitou Springs? My wife and I stayed at the Cliffhouse when we came down to see a play in Colorado Springs.

Love the Cliffhouse too and it has a beautiful setting also (will hopefully get a pic of that too someday), but I do think the Broadmoor is more luxurious with the lake and they have a golf course too!
