I was heading up over the hill to take my daughter to school the other day and came upon just this mountain with the sun shining on it. The foothills were blanketed with fog and this was the only one visible. I had to take a little detour to get this shot and my daughter was in a panic that she would be late to school! (Am I an awful Mother??)! I was able to snap a few and actually get her to school on time too (whew)! Can anyone relate to this? :-)
Am I the only person who thinks people who live near this much beauty shouldn't be allowed to be in the same photo category as those of us who live in 'regular' places? LOL... gorgeous - and worth the risk of being late to school!
Your landscapes are just incredible. The sunlight and the fog are a beautiful combination here. Perfect capture. Worth a quick detour to get some shots...if you work it right there's always time to get a few snaps in. :)

@sweetcalliope Thank you so much! My kids did say, you can get the shot on your way back, but I couldn't chance the fog covering up the mountain or the sun to go away!! In fact, when I did come back by, the fog had covered up the mountain and I would have missed the shot!!
