I am posting one last balloon shot. I took hundreds of shots and tried to get different angles and different views. This was taken from inside the hot air balloon as they were inflating it. I liked the silhouettes of the people on the outside.

Saw your previous balloon image on the PP and then came to this. Wonderful colours and silhouettes..such an orginal perspective. Has to be a fave for something so different.
Great balloon shots. I was fortunate enough to shoot a balloons a couple of days earlier in the summer. Mine didn't get near the views yours did though. (I haven't quite figured out what I've done wrong.) As I was leaving Colorado Springs on Monday, I saw two hovering over the city. Unfortunately they were too far away for me to capture them in flight.

I have been seeing the balloons here off in the distance too, especially when I'm dropping the kids off to school, but like you said they are so far off in the distance to capture!
