I am finally uploading my street photo for the challenge! I hope to get caught up soon!! I sure have a new appreciation for all those who take amazing street photos! There weren't many people out at the time I took this shot...just a squirrel and a bird, lol!

What a pretty little scene. Is this near where you live? The challenge looks like fun, and so many different styles in one week!

Hey Wendy, I am thinking if getting a 60D soon. What do you like about it? What do you not like about it? Any limitations or pet peeves with it?

@kiwichick Thank you Lesley! This is the little town I grew up in during my teen years! It's Manitou Springs, just west of Colorado Springs at the base of Pikes Peak. It it a wonderful, artsy town and a definite tourist trap in the summer!

@dune1953 Hey Doug! Great to hear you are thinking about the 60D! I have been extremely happy with it so far. I like the location of the controls and the swivel screen. The swivel screen allows for seeing and snapping shots at better angles, as well as being able to close the screen. The AF points are easy to change and I like being able to quickly adjust my shutter speed and aperture using the dial while seeing the adjustments on the LCD while in manual mode. I do like having the continuous burst mode to bracket three exposures for my HDR work. I believe the 7D captures 8 fps compared to the 60D that is 5.3 fps, so the 7D is faster. I would say a limitation would be the fact that it has a cropped sensor (7D also). I am hoping to one day upgrade to a full frame sensor and get the 5D Mark. Otherwise, I really don't have any issues or pet peeves with this camera!! I really do love it and sure would recommend it!!
