We had the opportunity to spend some much needed time in the mountains this past weekend. We hiked up to this glacial lake and it was beautiful. What an amazing day!

I love glacial lakes, the colour of the water is so unusual. There are so many pretty colours at this high alpine altitude and you've captured them so nicely.
@michelleyoung Thank you Michelle! It was about a 2 mile hike to the lake. It's considered an intermediate hike. It had several nice steep grades on the way up with crossing through a boulder field! Once up to the falls, there were several ways to get to the lake, but all very steep, wet, and rocky! It was definitely worth the climb!
