I had so much fun photographing the different geysers and basins in Yellowstone. Such an amazing place. I was trying for a different shot of this basin and was happy to get a sun flare.

@exposure4u Now that you have made it almost impossible for me to choose just one!!! You need to make a book! A photographer friend of mine just did a self published book and i am buying one of his from him directly..he did say the cost was high to make them ..but he is only charging 40.00 a book. So i dont know what his idea of high is. I wouldnt sell a book for anything less then 80.00 but i am not sure how many images this includes. ..Wendy your work is just fabulous and i am sure there is a market out here for you!! :)

Me again! :) Fav, naturally, but that's beside the point. ;) So in your editing, are you doing the "stacking" technique with all of these? Or is that too personal a question? @hiddencreek Thank you again Kari and I really don't mind sharing my techniques at all!! I used HDR on this shot. I tend to go back and forth with using Photomatix and Nik HDR Efex Pro software to combine my shots for the HDR. After that I do some editing in either Lightroom 3 or Photoshop (i.e.. contrast, exposure, sharpening). I then do some fine tuning using the Nik Color Efex Pro 4 (which I love!). Nik has many tutorials and I have been very pleased with their software. Hope this helps and thanks again for asking and I certainly appreciate your support and favs!!!!!
