I only had one night to stay at Cannon Beach on the northern coast of Oregon and the weather was supposed to be rainy! When I arrived, it was pouring down rain, but then cleared up a little later in the afternoon for a short time. I definitely got wet and I need to wear galoshes next time I go instead of my hiking sandals! The waves would come in and soak my pants, lol! It was pretty cold and trying to keep my equipment dry was certainly a chore, but definitely worth it! I so enjoyed my time in this area!
This is outstanding Wendy! Love everything about it! While spending some time in Monterey, CA, I once whined to my son that it was going to rain and that I most likely wouldn't venture out to shoot. He then asked me if I considered myself a Tourist or a Photographer...... I ventured out.

I new I was going to go black and white with the gray sky that day and kept trying for long exposure and hoping my tripod wouldn't move in the sand!
