This is Fairy Falls located in the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. We arrived at this location as the sun was setting and rain was coming down pretty steady. I had forgotten the umbrella, so we were using large maple leaves to shelter the camera gear and lenses! It was an adventure I will not forget. Knowing I was on a time crunch, I tried to capture the essence of this beautiful fall with the glorious touch of autumn. There seemed to be a graceful emergence of light, creating the texture of the rock behind the flowing water, revealing a fluid capture of nature.
