Hiking to this location is no easy feat and with the wind and sand blowing in your face...it's almost comical. I made it to the top of High Dunes in The Great Sand Dunes National Park yesterday and was just simply in bliss being in the presence of these majestic dunes. I sat on the sand and set up my tripod with the blowing wind, but it felt so silent and was at peace reveling in a moment of beauty set before me. This scene is what motivates me to have the endurance, the patience, and pure desire to capture nature in its grandness of sheer magnificence.
