Hiking back to my car from my sunset shot on the dunes, I turned around to see this scene. Blue hour had set in and the last light brushed against the sides of these majestic ridges, creating the final peaceful contrasts, as the day turned to night. The wind had subsided and there was a quiet tranquility that filled the air, calming the landscape and my soul. It was a graceful ending to my day and one that left me feeling complete.
@jgpittenger It was actually the last light from sunset hitting the dunes. I almost didn't capture it, but turned around, exhausted, but set up my tripod anyway enthralled by the light still hitting the sides of the dunes.
