Taken this past week in Upper Antelope Canyon. It was one of the last few days for photographic tours with a tripod, so I felt grateful to be able to get in on some photography at this iconic location! Such a beautiful place and every turn the lighting danced on the walls creating a new scene. My guide through the canyon was spectacular, helping to stop the flow of traffic so I could get some shots without the crowds coming through. He also shared great information on the Navajo history in the area. I look forward to processing a few more images from this area!
Niiiiiice! I was there in the fall of 2017, and that tour was the MOST stressful, intense, but SATISFYING photographic experience I have ever had. Shooting in low light, using my tripod for all shots, trying to get each shot properly framed, all of the people behind us complaining because our tour was holding them up (remember how they would stop everyone from walking thru for 2-3 minutes while you shot?), hearing the guide shout out "30 seconds, 15 seconds, 10-9-8... I want to go back again! I think I got some great shots, but because of the experience and my success, I wanna do it again!
@ggshearron Thank you Glover! I am so glad to hear about your experience! Yes, stressful indeed. I too felt rushed, but am definitely hoping to return again someday. I loved it and the lighting was amazing! Thank you again!!
