Likely one of the most wild places I have had a chance to visit and photograph. Getting to these salt flats in Death Valley National Park was not an easy task, but well worth the effort, especially after witnessing this amazing sunset. The salt forms these interesting hexagonal shapes after freezing and thawing of water creating a natural convection. Such an amazing place I look forward to photographing again!
