This sunset over Wilson Peak near Telluride, Colorado almost didn't happen for me. I had setup to shoot sunset and kept hopeful right up to sunset time and there seemed to be too many clouds and blockage to the west that had me packing up my equipment and heading back to my car feeling a bit disappointed, but still knowing I enjoyed being in the presence of such a majestic peak.
As soon as I was getting ready to drive off, there was a small break to the west in the clouds and the sky lit up! I quickly parked, grabbed my equipment and ran back to the spot I had setup to shoot in hopes I would be able to setup in time to capture the last light! It was a lesson learned to wait it out and never give up on nature, lol! Such an amazing year and so happy to have been able to be so productive this year! Hope you enjoy!
