So that's three hundred and sixty five days of photography done with, then.
It's over, but it's been a lewd old ride. The proverbial bus may well have crashed through a bakery, killing everyone on board, but it's no reason to lament; just remember the "line of coke" photo, man! It's telling that, according to the Ace Stats, my most well received photo's been the one I spent the most time & effort setting up...
Without getting so sentimental that I guff myself unconscious, let's recap a little and take a trip down a dirty, fetid lane named memory, dodging the gin-soaked tramps as best we can...
My early photos were painfully bad, so much so that it actually hurts to look at them. Image quality, composition, "artistic merit"; terrible by any metric. I also had no clue how to use my camera, and even used my phone for a few... the "jeans socks" photo, wtf was I thinking...
Gradually I figured out more technical aspects of l'camera, came up with all sorts of technical challenges and effects to pull off, and really got stuck in. The biggest revelation's probably been getting "good" at post processing, in the voluptuous Lightroom, as that's really "improved" my "shiznit".
Then again, no (group hug alert); the biggest revelation's been the little community of like-minded yet thoroughly disparate folk we have here on this lovely internet website (on the internet). Having you guys here for commentary and japery has really helped keep me going, striving to create stuff worthy of attention. So a big thanks to everyone, and to Ross for running the damn thing out of his own pocket in the first place. Hero!
Group Hug!
Possibly the most self-absorbed caption I've yet written, this, but then it /is/ the last one*, so that's ok. Looking forward to waking up tomorrow and not /having/ to take a photo...
So long, and thanks for all the fish!

(And if you know where I robbed some of the juiciest phrases for this caption from, I will officially marry you. Actually literally officially.)
Anyway, nice work man :)
Happy new year, too :) x
@lickwid Kai as in, actual Kai? Awesome! Cheers Kai, guy, and Herpy New Derp to you too :) xoxo
Hehe thanks @andycoleborn and you too ;)
(Re: Juicy phrases. If I say Douglas Adams, does that mean we have to get married?)
Thanks @eleanor , likewise :)
Love your last photo - a job well done!
Ah, princess, I've loved following you (here and elsewhere ;D) - and I cannot wait to kick it with you irl one of these days :) {beeeeg hug}

You're not actually leaving forever though, are you! Say it isn't so!
I adoreeeeee this.
@rebcastillo77 Thanks Rebbecca :P I have a feeling it might include a bit of 365 here and there...
Well done for completing the project you have been an inspiration. is london still on ?? Looking to see more of your work
I LOVE it.
Beautifully done.
@griff thanks!
What an awesome photo to end the project on!!! Whatever is going on with that light above you is just funky!
Love the write up, never thought we'd see so much sappiness from you hehe. Group hug!! Super glad you're sticking around even if it's not everyday. Alot of peoples pages would be empty without you :-)
Yeah the light's weird, only my 10-20mm lens does it for some reason
I like the weird light, it works!
Interesting that your most popular photo was the one you spent the most time on. I had the opposite experience with flickr. Even as my technical skills improved and the time I spent on each photo became almost counterproductive, my most popular photos (aside from the basketball pics) tended to be the quickie snapshots I took while out and about. I'm not sure what that says....
I think it says you have more natural artistic talent than you give yourself credit for and need to just let go and be snap happy. Maybe...
Just hit your flickr stream. It's gonna take a while to check through, seems you've been quite busy!
Also, keep an eye on http://365project.org/danboard/365 for more Danbo stuff @danboard
Love the lighting!
Oh, and did you know that humans are not the most intellegent creatures on Earth? They're the third. The second?
...
Dolphins. ;)
And thanks :)
And I'm not gone just yet, just I've downgraded to something like a 147project or something
..For the record...
You WERE talking about A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galxy, right?
What an awesome "final" photo! Love the lens flare that your 10-20 made. Did you use an off-camera flash to add light to you?
