beehive

Albeit dark, this large beehive was discovered at my in-laws house.

Well hidden in a hedge of bushes - this was the closest I could get - and all I had was my phone camera.

The bees were not happy about me rustling the leaves; and will be more unhappy tomorrow when the City come to smoke them out and take the hive away.

Wow, impressive feat of nature. Apparently Bees have had a really hard time in the UK this summer. Looks like they are doing ok across the Pond however!
