My niece and I went back out to Mom's to help dispose of the spoiled food (still no power or water usage there). This garter snake slithered through the wet grass to the edge of the small fish pond and snagged this frog. We were amazed because the frog was of a considerable size in comparison to this smallish snake.
it's amazing what a seemingly small snake can get down his throat! don't imagine you stuck around to watch to see if he got it down or released it - you would probably would have mentioned it. Great capture here =)
